1. Who we are

This privacy notice explains how Farrad Taj, trading as Learn2Drive Theory, uses personal information in connection with the Learn2Drive learner portal and digital revision products.

2. Information we use

Depending on how you use the service, we may process your name, email address, account identifiers, product entitlements, purchase references, learning progress, quiz results, question-level practice data, support messages and limited technical information needed to operate and secure the website.

Stripe processes payment-card details. Learn2Drive Theory does not need you to send full card numbers or card security codes to us.

3. Why we use your information

We use personal information to create and secure your account, provide purchased digital content, save learning progress, confirm product access, process and reconcile payments, answer support requests, prevent misuse and maintain the service.

Lawful bases

• Contract: where processing is needed to create your account, provide purchased Learn2Drive Theory products and manage your purchase.
• Legal obligation: where information must be retained for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or other legal requirements.
• Legitimate interests: for proportionate security, service reliability, support and product improvement where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Consent: if we introduce optional marketing or other processing that requires consent. We do not currently use your learner account to send marketing emails unless you separately agree.

4. Who we share information with

We use service providers that are necessary to operate Learn2Drive Theory. These currently include Supabase for account authentication and application data, Stripe for payment processing, and hosting or technical providers needed to deliver the website.

We do not sell learner personal data to advertisers.

Where a service provider processes information outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards and transfer mechanisms required by applicable data-protection law and the provider’s contractual arrangements.

5. How long we keep information

We keep account and learning information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service and maintain your purchased access. Payment and transaction records may need to be kept longer where required for accounting, tax, dispute or legal purposes.

You can contact us if you want to ask about deletion or closure of your account. Some records may still need to be retained where the law requires it or where they are necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

6. Browser storage and cookies

Learn2Drive Theory uses browser storage for functions such as keeping a session working, supporting learning progress and preserving interface preferences. These functions are used to provide the service you request.

At the date of this notice, the site does not intentionally use advertising or behavioural-analytics cookies. If non-essential cookies or similar technologies are introduced later, the notice and consent controls will be updated before they are used where consent is required.

7. Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or data portability, and to withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis.

If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

8. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the service, products or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
